My sister was staying at a nearby hospital and I got hungry ... Chinese food? Yeah, why not ! It was a quick walk from the hospital inside a shopping center .
The food was really tasty, the jalapeño chicken was super BOMB! It was sweet and spicy , great combination. I walked in to a fresh batch of chow mein, lucky me huh ? All needed was a cold Diet Coke, no fountain tho .
The establishment itself seem pretty clean .. the door was open which invited a bee and a fly while I was there . It was pretty hot for me but it was ok . It's a pretty small spot so not tons of sitting space. Parking doesn't seem like a problem .
Price was ok.. not too expensive or too cheap . You do get tons for the money .
If I'm ever in the area I'll stop by ... or I'd just make the drive .
Enjoy ! -

Hole in the wall place. I actually wouldn't have found out about this place without the help of Yelp!
I was staying over at the hospital and I was so over the food from kaiser. This place is not far from the main kaiser hospital. You can also drive to this location. Parking is easy since it's a big lot that is shared with many stores and grocery stores. The location is kinda sketchy so be careful at night. Also note that your car will be towed if you stay there too long.
The staff can speak English so that helps for those who can't speak Chinese. It's also cool because asian people also eat here!
The food is cafeteria style so you pick the dishes and he puts it in a box. You can't really good wrong with most dishes. There are also a lot of chicken dishes.
I have to note that it's very cheap for how much food you get. He PACKED my box (and food was pouring out!)... I was actually fine if it wasn't as filled haha.
Food was good. No complaints really. Tasted better than Panda Express. It's definitely fast casual
Going back to how much food there was... I was so full
Paying.. if it's under $10, then you'll have to pay a small fee. Your dish will most likely be under $10, so bring cash if you don't want to pay an extra 30 cents. But you can buy a desert or egg roll to bring you over $10
Awesome place! Cool staff! Local! -

Coming from NYC, I have very low expectations for chinese food in LA, but this place exceeded my expectations. I split a 3 entree combo, which came to about $13.
We chose orange chicken, BBQ pork, and teriyaki chicken. It came with fried rice and chow mein. The orange chicken was soggy, but I really enjoyed it, pork was good and the fried rice and chow mein was good too! Actually the best fried rice I've had at a chinese place in LA, but the bar is admittedly set really low. The teriyaki chicken was terrible and I would never eat that again, but I'll call four out of five components being good a win!
We got it for takeout and they did not provide chopsticks or fortune cookies. And I still can't find any sesame or general tso's chicken in LA. But I would call this experience a win overall. -

Let's be real: people come here not because the food is especially good (it probably won't be receiving any Michelin stars), but because it's dirt cheap, and the portions are huge. The food here is exactly what you'd expect at a hole-in-the-wall Chinese joint inconspicuously tucked away in a janky strip mall. My meal consisted of kung pao chicken, beef and broccoli, and chow mein. Everything was fine, if not a bit heavy handed on the grease. It was also super affordable. It gets the job done if you're looking for a quick bite without breaking the bank.
They take credit cards, which is a plus for a small, mom and pop restaurant like this. And while there are a couple of stools inside, this is definitely the kind of establishment where you order your food to go. There's not much in the way of ambiance. -

Come here for:
1. Quantity for with some pretty good quality.
2. Unbeatable value.
3. Fast bite.
4. Friendly people.
5. Jalapeno chicken.
I've chatted with the owner several times and they really are good people. I respect their hustle and I recognize their game.
